Jason Rosenburg

Southern literary fiction, craft notes, and editing for writers who care about the heart of the story.

Welcome

Stories about the places we come from and the truths we carry with us

Hi, I’m Jason Rosenburg. I write Southern literary fiction and reflections on faith, family, queer identity, place, and the long process of becoming honest with yourself.

My work often returns to the South because it shaped me. I’m drawn to characters who are caught between what they were taught, what they want, and what they are finally brave enough to admit.

Here, you’ll find updates on my fiction, posts from I Write in the Dark, and editing services for writers who need a thoughtful reader and honest feedback.
