I Write In The dark
Stories from the margins
About Jason
Hey, I’m Jason. Thanks for stopping by.
I’m a Southern writer living in Tijuana, Mexico, by way of Alabama. I’m in my late 40s and finally feel like I’m just starting to live. I write about love, identity, memory, queerness, faith, and all the things that don’t always have a place at the dinner table.
I’m a senior at SNHU, majoring in Creative Writing and English. I’ve blogged for over 15 years and built a life around words. This blog is where I share personal reflections, fiction, and the occasional journalistic piece — whatever feels honest in the moment.
You’ll also find conversations here — interviews with other writers, artists, and creatives who are doing meaningful work in their own corners of the world.
I believe in truth-telling, connection, and stories that leave a mark. Stick around. You never know what might show up in the dark.
